User Research Project Overview
I recently led a team of designers and researchers on a project to confirm and disconfirm some longstanding beliefs about the target audience for a learning product. I planned and executed a study that included 360 participants (60 interviews, 300 surveys) to uncover friction points in their use of the product. In order to collect the required data and analyze within the stated timeframe, I engaged a rotating team of interviewers based on availability. To do so, I developed an interview toolkit to easily onboard new interviewers as they rolled onto the project throughout data collection, as team members were distributed across time zones and working flexible schedules.
Project Timeline: 16 Weeks
Methods: Mixed, a use of interviews and surveys to obtain user insights
Analyses: Thematic analysis, factor analysis, correlations (conducted with assistance from team)
